Skills – Experience and Requirements:

A successful Satellite TV Installer/Technician will have the following:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High energy, being resourceful, and strong multi-tasking skills
  • Basic computer skills; basic electronics and/or audio/video knowledge is helpful.
  • Strong customer service skills; friendly, approachable and motivated with a strong work ethic and a high degree of integrity.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time on a ladder, lift over 70 lbs at times, crawl into small spaces, work in all climates and remain within the individual weight requirement of 275 lbs.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays and evenings.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; college or technical/vocational school a plus.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license in the State you are seeking employment in, with a driving record that meets our minimum safety standard.
  • Cable industry experience is a plus.

Multi-state DishNetwork subcontractor currently seeking to fill a warehouse/inventory control position in our Asheville, NC location. This position requires computer skills, self-discipline, and the ability to work unsupervised. Position consists of general warehouse duties, inventory control via specialized software, order pulling, inventory accountability, and may include making deliveries in personal and company vehicles, so a good driving record is imperative. We are willing to train the right person.

*Forklift certification is a plus! Must be willing to obtain, if not previously certified.
*Pixsys Software experience is a plus!
*Familiarity with Dish components is a plus!

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Receives incoming inventory items, logs into warehouse system, and stocks inventory in the proper location.
  • Fills contractor equipment orders and accurately transfers orders via the inventory control system.
  • Drives vehicles to deliver inventory to contractors and other off-site locations as needed. Mileage reimbursement for use of personal vehicle.
  • Tracks all inventory in appropriate systems.
  • Organizes and cleans warehouse space and company vehicles.
  • Reports any problems or concerns immediately.
  • Any other duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with minimum violations.
  • Knowledge of state driving laws and applicable safety practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures, product-handling, inventory tracking, and basic mathematics.
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle. lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
